Atlas Headrest Compatibility with Older Chairs
For Aeron and Embody chairs, the backrests have stayed the same over the years, so our headrests will fit whether your chair is brand new or over three decades old. Additionally, there is no difference in the chair backs for the Gaming and Standard Embody chairs or for the Gaming, Remastered, and Classic Aeron chairs and their headrests; they are all interchangeable.
We often get asked if our headrests are compatible with other types of chairs. Currently, our headrests are designed specifically for Herman Miller Aeron & Embody Chairs, and Haworth Fern Chairs, and are not made to fit other chair types. While some creative customers have modified their headrests to fit different chairs, please note that any DIY modifications may void the headrest warranty.
